10 pieces Egg Yolk
2 pieces whole eggs
2/3 cup NESTLÉ® Carnation® Condensada
1/3 cup Sugar
2 packets NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
1/2 cup Water
1 piece Lime Juice
1/3 cup to 1/2
4 pieces Zest of 4 limes (for best results, we recommend using a Microplane zester)
1
1 cup white sugar, caramelised for bottom of llanera (flan tray)

STEPS

Step 1 Whisk together yolks and whole eggs. Add NESTLÉ® Carnation® Condensada and sugar. Mix until well combined.
Step 2 Add NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, water and lime juice. Fold in desiccated coconut. Fold in lime zest.
Step 3 Caramelize sugar in pan until golden brown.
Step 4 Distribute into 10 individual llaneras. Add flan mixture, cover with foil and steam for 25-30 minutes on low heat. Alternatively, you can bake it in a bain marie in 300 degrees F oven for 25-40 minutes.
Step 5 Set aside to cool. Refrigerate to firm.
