1 | packet | NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, 125ml, chilled |
1/3 | cup | Carrot |
1/4 | teaspoon | dried dill or thyme |
1/3 | cup | potatoes, cut into small cubes |
1 | cup | Cold Water |
1 | clove | garlic, minced |
1/3 | cup | corn kernels |
1 | tablespoon | Cooking Oil |
1/2 | cup | picked basil leaves, rinsed and drained well |
1/4 | cup | Parmesan cheese |
1 | To Taste | fine salt |
1 | To Taste | freshly ground pepper |
24 | pieces | large lumpia wrapper |

Step 1 | In a sauce pan, add in carrots, thyme, potatoes and 1 cup of water. Bring water to a boil. |
Step 2 | Once the water is dry and veggies are fork tender, add in garlic and corn. Sauté for 2 minutes in oil. Transfer on a different container and allow to cool. |
Step 3 | In a blender, blend basil, Parmesan cheese and NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Season with salt and pepper. Chill. |
Step 4 | Lay out one wanton wrapper on a chopping board and fill the middle with a little bit of the prepared veggie mixture. Brush the edges of the wrapper with water and press with fingers to seal it. Repeat procedure until 12 pieces or more are prepared. |
Step 5 | Heat cooking oil. Fry up the wantons until golden brown and serve with cream dip. |
