INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons Butter
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
5 cups Water
350 grams Chicken Breast
1/2 teaspoon dried dill or thyme
1/2 cup Orzo (risoni pasta)
1 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
1 packet NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, 250mL
1 can canned corn
1 small carrot, sliced ½-inch thick
2 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

STEPS

Step 1 In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes or until onion is tender. Add chicken cubes and sauce until it changes color.
Step 2 Pour in stock or water and dried thyme. Bring to a boil and then lower heat to simmer, covered until chicken is cooked. Add orzo and carrots. Continue to cook for 6 to 8 min until orzo is tender.
Step 3 Whisk flour into cream. Add corn and NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream to broth. Bring to a boil while stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute. Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and pepper
