INGREDIENTS

500 grams bacon, cut in half
1 cup onion, sliced
1/2 cup kinchay, minced
6 packages NESTLÉ® Fresh Milk
1 packet NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, 250mL
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric or Luyang Dilaw
1 tablespoon corn meal
1 can creamed corn
2 cans canned corn
4 sachets MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 cup melting cheese, grated

STEPS

Step 1 Fry bacon until crisp. Set aside and reserve bacon fat.
Step 2 In a stockpot, sauté; onions and celery in hot bacon fat until soft and fragrant. Pour in milk and NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Add turmeric and corn meal and stir until slightly thickened.
Step 3 Add creamed corn and corn kernels. Season with AGGI® Magic Sarap® and pepper and cook for 5 minutes more.
Step 4 Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted. Top with fried bacon just before serving.
